Peppol E-Invoicing Integration with FileMaker

Future-Proof Your Invoicing with FileMaker + Peppol with ClickWorks

By 2026, all B2B invoices in Belgium must be sent electronically via the Peppol network. This EU-backed standard eliminates PDF attachments and manual data entry, ensuring faster, more secure, and fully traceable invoicing.

At ClickWorks, we help you make that shift smoothly. We offer a custom integration between FileMaker and Peppol that lets you send (and optionally receive) e-invoices straight from your existing FileMaker app with no extra platforms, no confusing workarounds.

And the best part? Many of our clients are up and running in just one day.

How it works

We connect your FileMaker app to Peppol using a certified Access Point provider.
From there, you can:

  • Automatically send compliant e-invoices
  • Receive invoices directly into your system (if desired)
  • Keep full control of your invoicing process, without extra manual work

We will tailor the integration to fit your setup and help you stay ahead of the upcoming e-invoicing mandate.

FAQ

How long does the integration take?

Most FileMaker–Peppol integrations are completed in one working day, especially if you’re using our preferred provider, Billit. If your setup is more complex or you choose a different provider, it might take a little longer but we’ll let you know upfront.

Do I have to use Billit?

No, you’re not locked in. We can integrate with any certified Peppol Access Point provider.
That said, ClickWorks is now an official Billit partner, and we’ve already delivered dozens of successful FileMaker integrations using their platform.

We recommend Billit for its:

  • Reliable and well-documented API
  • Fast, responsive support (they’re Belgian too!)
  • 15-day free trial
  • Exclusive offer for KBC clients (1 year free)
  • Our partnership with Billit means we can get you up and running even faster and troubleshoot more efficiently when needed.
Is the integration tax deductible?

Yes! If your business is based in Flanders, both the development cost and your Access Point subscription are 120% tax deductible until 2028, under a government incentive for digitalization.

What do I need to decide before starting?

Here are a few questions we’ll help you answer:

  • Do you want to send only, or also receive invoices?
  • Do you already have a Peppol provider, or do you want help picking one?
  • Will you track invoice statuses in FileMaker, or use the provider’s portal?

Don’t worry as we will  guide you through these decisions during the kickoff.

What does the integration cost?

There are two main costs:

  • A subscription with the Peppol Access Point (usually based on volume)
  • A one-time setup fee for integrating with your FileMaker system (typically around one/two day(s) of work*)

We’ll give you a clear quote based on your actual setup.
